Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at AEG. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort in our guest rooms and public areas.
Key Responsibilities- Deep clean guest rooms to our exacting standards, including kitchens, bathrooms, and furniture
- Deep clean floors using a variety of techniques, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
- Change bedding and make beds to our high standards
- Replenish supplies, including cooking and eating essentials, linens, and bathroom items
- Clean and polish furniture and fixtures
- Clean unit windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using soapy water and other cleaners
- Dust unit appliances, fans, furniture, walls, machines, and equipment
- Move and arrange furniture to ensure all trash has been removed
- Work with our supervisory team to ensure all units are cleaned to our high standards
- Submit work order requests to maintenance as needed and follow up to ensure completion
- Ensure all special projects and general cleaning status is reported to dispatch with all pertinent information
- Interface with dispatch regarding clean status of all guest units
- Clean interior stairways, entry ways, and doors
- Observe safety concerns and report damage
- Follow direction of inspector and supervisory team
- Provide standard unit cleaning as a GRA when necessary
- Assist in the laundry when necessary
- Complete various additional special project tasks and assignments as needed
- 1-2 years previous housekeeping experience in a fast-paced resort operation
- Exceptional communication skills and command of the English language
- Previous residential or condominium cleaning experience preferred
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred
