Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a high level of customer service to members, answering product inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Process member purchases, including liquor, lottery, and tobacco sales, while adhering to state laws and age requirements.
  • Scan merchandise through a point-of-sale system to ensure accurate inventory counts and purchase totals.
  • Collect payments via cash, check, or other charge payments, issuing receipts and change as needed.
  • Run lottery machines and sell scratch-off tickets, processing and collecting payment for lottery ticket sales.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the register area and liquor store, assisting with general club housekeeping as needed.
  • Recover and restock merchandise throughout the day, ensuring shelves are fully stocked and merchandise is properly displayed.
  • Conduct daily inventory counts, adhering to asset protection guidelines and placing devices on high-shrink merchandise as needed.
Requirements
  • Basic math skills and prior cashier experience preferred.
  • At least 18 years of age and successful completion of all required training and/or certifications.
Work Environment

The Liquor Store Associate will work in a fast-paced retail environment, with frequent exposure to temperature extremes and loud noises. The position requires regular, predictable attendance and the ability to lift objects up to 30 pounds unassisted.

In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is starting from $15.25.
