Role Overview
We are seeking a candidate with substantial expertise in scientific visualization to help us develop a groundbreaking and user-friendly experience for scientific computing applications.

This role involves:
- Implementing cutting-edge data visualization algorithms
- Developing real-time large-scale rendering capabilities
- Exploring innovative methods for interacting with extensive Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) datasets.

Requirements
Essential:
- PhD in computer science or a related technical field with 2-5 years of relevant industry experience
- Strong foundation in Computational Geometry, GPU rendering, and Scientific Computing
- Basic understanding of numerical methods, Scientific Visualization, and data compression
- Proven experience and contributions to scientific visualization software with CFD applications
- Proficiency in C++ for scientific computing, Python (or similar) for scripting, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with web-based visualization libraries such as OpenGL
- Experience with cloud services like Amazon Web Services for data visualization.

Preferred:
- Industry experience in the implementation and testing of large-scale web-based visualization
- Prior collaborative experience in a medium-sized distributed development team
- Expertise in topics such as:
- Mesh Coarsening algorithms
- Octree data structures
- Server-client rendering
- Real-time visualization
- Development of scalable, parallel scientific software using MPI, OpenMP, or CUDA
- Virtual Reality rendering of large-scale Scientific Computing data
- Familiarity with open-source data visualization software like ParaView
- Ray tracing algorithms
- High-throughput batched data processing.
