Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Shop Equipment Technician to join our team at Texas First Rentals. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our rental equipment and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and failures using advanced diagnostic techniques and tools.
  • Rebuild, repair, and maintain equipment and components to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and shop management to ensure timely and efficient repair services.
  • Plan and control the cost of repair jobs to meet company standards.
  • Complete parts orders and identify parts for return to minimize waste and optimize inventory.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and technologies through ongoing training and education.

Requirements:

  • More than three years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school diploma preferred.
