POSITION SUMMARY:

The Financial Controller will lead the accounting division, ensuring a thorough oversight of the financial stability of Orangetheory - Franchise #0279. This role encompasses the management, analysis, and maintenance of financial statements, payroll, budgets, and compliance with tax regulations. The Controller will influence financial strategies by developing, monitoring, and enforcing essential policies and procedures. Safeguarding assets through the establishment of internal controls and conducting audits to verify the financial status of the organization will be critical responsibilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee accounting for all locations on a monthly basis
- Conduct precise annual audits in a timely manner
- Manage treasury functions
- Prepare monthly financial statements within a 15-day closing period
- Attend board meetings as necessary, providing financial presentations
- Support and ensure seamless execution of Mergers & Acquisitions
- Conduct monthly financial reviews with Directors and Board Members
- Assist in formulating short- and long-term financial strategies
- Develop, implement, and uphold financial controls and guidelines
- Enforce internal controls to maximize asset protection and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
- Maintain internal safeguards for revenue, costs, and organizational budgets
- Manage the company budget in collaboration with the Executive team and department heads
- Handle monthly sales tax reporting
- Perform bank and credit reconciliations
- Oversee daily cash flow management and forecasting
- Track and process accounts payable
- Liaise with external Tax & Audit professionals for compliance and financial statements
- Manage investor relations and capital tracking
- Ensure timely debt service payments and reconciliations
- Validate and reconcile invoicing from Corporate Franchisor
- Uphold corporate policies and business practices
