We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our peri-operative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement a plan of care for a specific patient population, collaborating with multidisciplinary team members to facilitate integrated and comprehensive care.
- May substitute training in operating room procedures from military or vocational training programs.
- Ensure compliance with Virginia state regulations and obtain the required license with the VBOM.
Requirements:
- TS - Trade School Graduate: Surgical Technologist (Required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - Certifications - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
- Licensed Surgical Technologist - State license - North Carolina
- Licensed Surgical Technologist - State license - Other/National
- Ventricular Assist Device Certification (VAD-C) - Certification - ICCAC Operating Room
