Job Summary

As a Surgical Technologist at Sentara, you will play a vital role in the peri-operative environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide integrated and comprehensive care. Your expertise will be essential in implementing the plan of care for our patients, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout their surgical journey.

Responsibilities:

  • Implementing the plan of care for specific patient populations
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary team members to facilitate integrated and comprehensive care
  • Substituting training in operating room procedures from military or vocational training programs

Requirements:

  • TS - Trade School Graduate: Surgical Technologist
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - Certifications - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
  • Licensed Surgical Technologist - State license - North Carolina, Other/National
