Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Medical Screener to join our team at CSL Plasma. As a Medical Screener, you will be responsible for conducting medical screenings and registering donors for plasma donation. Your primary goal will be to ensure the safety and well-being of our donors while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough medical screenings on donors to determine their eligibility for plasma donation.
  2. Register donors for plasma donation and accurately record their information in our electronic donor management system.
  3. Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regulatory requirements.
  4. Communicate effectively with donors to address their concerns and provide education on plasma donation procedures.
  5. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards.

Working Conditions:

  • This is a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
  • Donors may exhibit various physical and emotional characteristics that require your attention and compassion.
  • You will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) when performing specific tasks or working in certain areas.
  • You must be able to see and speak with customers and observe equipment operation.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of three months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in a medical or health provider environment.
  • Ability to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • The estimated salary range for this position is $40,000 - $60,000 per year.
