Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Screener to join our team at CSL Plasma. As a Medical Screener, you will be responsible for greeting donors, conducting registration procedures, and verifying donor suitability for plasma collection.

In this role, you will work closely with medical staff to ensure that all donors meet the necessary criteria for donation. You will also educate new donors on the use of therapeutic products made from donated plasma and provide information on center policies, proper nutrition, and other relevant topics.

As a Medical Screener, you must have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality of all personnel, donor, and center information.  About the Role:
  • You will assist qualified donors in completing the screening process, including assessing self-administered health history, answering basic medical questions, and performing health screening procedures.
  • You will educate new donors on the use of therapeutic products made from donated plasma, including explaining the screening process, health screening tests performed, appointment system, donation fees, and center policies.
  • You will maintain alertness and awareness to any reaction by a donor during or after the pheresis process and notify appropriate staff as needed.

This is a full-time position with competitive compensation, including an estimated salary of $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.  Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; high school diploma or equivalent may be considered with relevant experience.
  • Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in a medical or health provider environment.
  • Ability to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines; must be able to see and speak with customers and observe equipment operation.
