We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Dietitian to join our team at West Florida Hospital. As a Pediatric Dietitian Nutritionist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional nutrition care to our pediatric patients.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a Registered Dietitian to work in a fast-paced acute care hospital setting. You will be responsible for providing nutrition care to patients in a variety of settings, with a focus on pediatrics, including PICU, Surgical Ortho Oter units, and other inpatient units as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide nutritional care to pediatric patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nutrition care plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Develop and implement education programs for healthcare staff on nutrition-related topics.
  • Work every 3rd-4th weekend, providing hospital-wide coverage.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Registered Dietitian credentials and licensure in Florida.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Good time management skills and the ability to work independently.Experience working in a pediatric setting, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.What We Offer
