Job Title: Technical Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to join our team at StarRez. As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing technical project delivery with customers who are interested in acquiring additional software, changes to current solutions, and/or professional services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage concurrent multiple software projects
  • Serve as a technical resource on Implementations specifically for Integrations & Data
  • Run StarRez technical training sessions - Internal and External
  • Provide customers with subject matter and business process consultations
  • Provide resolution to project, implementation or customer issues, following proper escalation procedures based on internal practices
  • Create project documentation and procedures
  • Support customers to strategize and design the integration of StarRez software with other systems, and data mapping / data loading needs
  • Create/update documentation for customers and internal purposes
  • Testing of products, custom tools or components
Requirements:
  • 4 + years of Higher Education Housing Experience
  • Typical candidates held positions such as, Associate or Assistant Director of Housing or Residential Life, Housing Operations Managers, Conference Services Director, Residential Services Business Analysts, Residential Services Technology support specialists, etc. (StarRez software previous use and knowledge is a big plus)
  • BS/BA degree required
  • Degrees in Higher Education Administration or Business related discipline are preferred
  • Demonstrated skills developing lasting "trusted partner" relationships based on proven delivery results
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and must possess experience at presenting and leading meetings with senior staff
  • Strong judgment, issues management, and problem analysis techniques
  • Experience working in accounting and/or with accounting systems
  • Experience using or implementing Student Information Systems such as: Oracle, PeopleSoft, SAP, Banner
