Administrative Assistant to the Development Director

The Salvation Army USA Central Territory is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the Development Director in their efforts to drive fundraising and community engagement.
This role is responsible for providing administrative support to the Development Director, including implementing communications strategies, organizing donor stewardship plans, and managing digital fundraising platforms.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of experience as an Executive Assistant to a high-level manager or executive in a nonprofit setting.

Key Responsibilities- Implement communications strategies set by the Development Director, including creating social media content and maintaining updated content on the corps' website.
- Organize and implement all written and electronic components of the donor stewardship plan set by the Development Director.
- Assist with drafting and managing email communications with the Advisory Board and donors.
- Set up all digital fundraising platforms for various campaigns and special events.
- Manage the Development Director's schedule for donor asks and community speaking engagements.
- Provide administrative support during special events and fundraising campaigns.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two (2) years experience as Executive Assistant to a high-level manager or executive in a nonprofit setting.
