Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Project Coordinator to join our team at Dragados. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project documents, assisting project managers with schedule development, and performing project cost control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Management of project documents, including submittals, RFI's, shop drawings, quality control, and safety records
  • Assist project managers with schedule development, updates, and mitigation
  • Perform project cost control
  • Assist estimating department with project takeoff and gathering vendor/subcontractor quotes
  • Assist project superintendent and manager with subcontractor supervision
  • AutoCAD/BIM experience preferred, but not required
  • Must be proficient in document control software
  • Must be able to read/understand construction plans
  • Maintain reports and logs of contract deliverables
  • Assist project team with issue mitigation

Requirements

  • 4 year degree in construction management, electrical engineering, or related field - OR - 3 years of experience in construction management or electrical construction field
  • Jobsite travel within Greater Boston
  • Primary main office-based role, with occasional construction field office relocation within Greater Boston
  • Monday through Friday, occasional weekend presence when project need arises
  • Annual salary range $68,000.00 - $78,000.00 dependent upon experience and qualifications
