Nutrition Program Facilitator Job Description

Kids' Test Kitchen is an innovative enrichment program that teaches kids to cook, taste, and learn about healthy eating. As a Nutrition Program Facilitator, you will play a critical role in delivering our program to schools and communities across the region.

Compensation: $120 for two back-to-back classes, with opportunities for additional income through bonus classes or programs.

You will lead cooking classes for kids, developing and implementing curriculum that aligns with our nutrition education goals. You will also collaborate with our team to create new program initiatives and resources, maintaining a safe and clean cooking environment along the way.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging cooking classes for kids, incorporating hands-on learning and interactive activities.
  • Develop and implement curriculum for cooking classes, ensuring alignment with nutrition education goals.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to create new program initiatives and resources.
  • Maintain a safe and clean cooking environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children, preferably in a cooking or nutrition education setting.
  • Degree in Nutrition, Education, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Knowledge of nutrition principles and practices, with ability to apply this knowledge in a practical setting.
