Job Overview

Salary: $60 per class, with potential for additional income through bonus classes or programs.

As a Food Education Instructor, you will be responsible for leading fun and engaging cooking classes for kids, focusing on healthy eating habits and essential cooking skills. You will also work closely with our team to develop and implement new program initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cooking classes for kids, incorporating hands-on learning and interactive activities.
  • Develop and implement curriculum for cooking classes, ensuring alignment with nutrition education goals.
  • Collaborate with our team to create new program initiatives and resources.
  • Maintain a safe and clean cooking environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children, preferably in a cooking or nutrition education setting.
  • Degree in Nutrition, Education, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Knowledge of nutrition principles and practices, with ability to apply this knowledge in a practical setting.
