Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze monthly and quarterly third-party property management reports to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Verify accurate accrual accounting for expenses and their escalation and pass-through to tenants.
  • Provide ongoing support to Asset Managers and Managers for assigned portfolios.
  • Act as a resource for third-party accountants on relevant accounting policies, procedures, and systems, including cash collections and disbursements, accounts receivable monitoring, annual budget preparation, intercompany accounting, and cash forecasting.
  • Participate in due diligence processes for acquisitions, reviewing and preparing acquisition and sale closing statements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of real estate accounting experience.
  • Experience with fair value GAAP, tax accounting.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
