Key Responsibilities

Your primary role will be to support members with their financial transactions, which includes processing cash and other negotiable instruments.

  • Handle and execute member financial transactions, such as deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and cashing checks; sell teller checks and vehicle registration stickers; process Visa payments and advances; and transfer funds between member accounts as instructed. Ensure daily balancing of the cash drawer, including cash, processed checks, disbursed checks, and voucher debits and credits.
  • Greet members warmly and provide them with general information about our services, directing them to the appropriate department for specific inquiries.
  • Promote Credit Union services when appropriate through member interactions.
  • Adhere to responsibilities under the Bank Secrecy Act, including gathering necessary information for CTR reporting and monitoring for suspicious activities.
  • Assist in training and mentoring new staff members.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including typing, filing, data entry, and answering phone calls, along with other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A minimum of six months of cash handling experience and a high school diploma or GED.
  • Proficiency in ten-key calculators, keyboarding, and basic computer skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and memory retention.
  • Exemplary courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are vital for this role.

Health and Safety Guidelines

Vaccination is not a requirement for employment at Revity Credit Union.

We adhere to CDC guidelines regarding masks. Currently, wearing masks is optional.
