Job Description:

AT&T is seeking a highly skilled Senior System Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our End User Services team, you will be responsible for analyzing hardware specifications and system/subsystem requirements, conceiving and documenting practical designs for hardware components, and preparing functional requirements and specifications for hardware acquisitions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing hardware engineering expertise to analyze complex hardware systems, hardware design, architecture, network design, and other technical hardware issues.
  • Providing hardware maintenance support, both preventative and remedial.
  • Deploying, installing, and implementing hardware.
  • Identifying and resolving technical issues related to hardware systems.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless hardware support.
  • Developing and maintaining technical documentation for hardware systems.
  • Providing technical guidance and support to junior engineers and systems administrators.

Requirements:

  • Fourteen (14) years of experience as an SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Minimum of Security+ certification.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in user endpoint support and troubleshooting.
  • Requirements analysis and solution design.
  • Test plan development and execution.
  • Creating and maintaining documentation for both end users and system administrators.
