Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately document and execute tasks as outlined in repair orders, adhering to dealership and manufacturer standards.
  • Change engine oil and replace oil and air filters as required.
  • Monitor and replenish vehicle fluid levels as necessary.
  • Check and adjust tire pressure as needed.
  • Coordinate with the parts department to procure necessary components.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Ensure accountability for all dealership-owned tools and manuals.
  • Utilize tools and equipment safely and effectively.
  • Perform tasks outlined in repair orders efficiently and in compliance with dealership protocols.
  • Conduct test drives and assess vehicle systems using diagnostic tools.
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair various automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
  • Communicate effectively with Service Advisors to keep customers informed about their vehicles.
  • Provide estimates for additional repair time as needed.
  • Execute warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
Qualifications
  • Desire to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Entry-level qualifications preferred, including experience in diagnostics, electrical systems, and engine repair.
  • Strong manual dexterity for tool usage.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • Dependable and punctual.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Positive and friendly demeanor with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Enjoyment of a fast-paced work environment.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and repair procedures.
  • Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to undergo pre-employment drug screening and background checks.
