ROLE OVERVIEW:
As a Financial Aid Counselor, your primary responsibility will be to assess financial aid applications, offer guidance to students and their families, and facilitate financial aid workshops. You will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and effective management of financial aid for the student body.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assess applications to determine eligibility for financial assistance
- Provide expert financial aid counseling
- Create and deliver informative financial aid presentations
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required. A minimum of two years of relevant professional experience in student services or a related area is necessary. Familiarity with electronic data management and financial aid counseling is preferred.
