Medical Office Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate LPN to join our team at Physicians East. As a Primary Care LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care for clinic patients, following demonstration of working knowledge of all facets of the role, relevant regulations, and organizational and departmental policies and procedures.
- Perform under the direction of a provider and within the framework of the office policies and procedures.
- Assist providers during office visits and in-office procedures as needed.
- Prep exam rooms for clinical procedures and assist practitioners with patient care.
- Perform accurate measurement of vital signs, including orthostatic blood pressure, temperature, pulse, body weight, height, and complete appropriate health history questions.
- Record medications, allergies, pertinent lab work, pharmacy, and PCP in the EMR.
- Wound Care/Dressing Changes
- Prior Authorizations
- Population Health and care gap closure
- Follow standing orders as directed by department policies.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Experience in electronic medical records (EMR/HER) software required.
- Ability to observe and to draft a narrative account of events accurately and cogently, in grammatically correct English.
