Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Medical Officer to join our team at TulaRay. As a key member of our clinical services team, you will be responsible for the administration and coordination of hospital psychiatric and medical services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical services, with experience in the administration of major clinical services programs in psychiatric or medical care and treatment of individuals with mental illness. You will be responsible for providing direction and consultation on clinical matters to nursing and other services, and will participate in the formulation of treatment and administrative procedures for clinical services.

This is a professional medical and administrative role that requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and coordinate hospital psychiatric and medical services
  • Provide direction and consultation on clinical matters to nursing and other services
  • Participate in the formulation of treatment and administrative procedures for clinical services
  • Maintain standards of professional services and participate in the recruitment and selection of principal clinical services staff
Requirements
  • Three (3) years of experience in the administration of a major clinical services program in the psychiatric or medical care and treatment of individuals with mental illness
  • Certification in psychiatry or other recognized medical specialty by the American Medical Board or American Osteopathic Board
  • Possession of a current and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania issued by the State Board of Medicine or the State Board of Osteopathic Medicine
  • Basic computer skills to include, but not limited to, Microsoft Office Products
Working Conditions

This role will be performed under the general direction of the hospital superintendent, deputy superintendent for forensic services, Commandant or Medical Director, and will be reviewed for conformance to broad departmental and hospital or institutional policies and established procedures through conferences, reports, and evaluation of results.
