Neurointerventionalist Opportunity at a Top Academic Medical Center

Physician Empire is seeking a highly skilled neurointerventionalist to join our multidisciplinary team at a top academic medical center. As a member of our Comprehensive Stroke Center, you will be part of a dynamic team of neurohospitalists, neurologists, neurosurgeons, neuroradiologists, and neurointerventional neurologists.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in multidisciplinary conferences and quality improvement initiatives
- Contribute to the teaching of medical students and residents
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to acutely ill patients
About the Opportunity:
This is an outstanding opportunity to have the best of all worlds at a top academic medical center with plenty of opportunities to collaborate, perform research, and teach. Our region's only Comprehensive Stroke Center has expanded its presence as a tertiary hub, resulting in a higher quality of care for acutely ill patients. Our new patient tower, Project 20/20, will house 64 intensive care beds and expand critical care services to include medical, surgical, cardiovascular, neuro, and trauma critical care.
Qualifications and Details:
- Fellowship-trained in endovascular surgical neuroradiology, interventional neuroradiology, or neuroendovascular surgery
- Typical cases include acute stroke intervention, brain aneurysm embolization, carotid revascularization, fistula treatment, spine procedures, diagnostic angiography, cerebral venous procedures, and thrombolysis
- Broad neurointerventional skill set with a willingness to learn new techniques and participate in new procedures
- Excellent interpersonal skills and collaborative disposition
- Desire to teach medical students, residents, and staff
