As a member of the region's only Comprehensive Stroke Center, you will join a multidisciplinary team of neurohospitalists, neurologists, neurosurgeons, neuroradiologists, and neurointerventionalists. The physician will participate in multidisciplinary conferences, quality improvement initiatives, and contribute to the teaching of medical students and residents.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in multidisciplinary conferences and quality improvement initiatives
- Contribute to the teaching of medical students and residents
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to acutely ill patients
- Fellowship trained in endovascular surgical neuroradiology, interventional neuroradiology, or neuroendovascular surgery
- Experience with acute stroke intervention, brain aneurysm embolization, carotid revascularization, fistula treatment, spine procedures, diagnostic angiography, cerebral venous procedures, and thrombolysis
- Excellent interpersonal skills and collaborative disposition
- Desire to teach medical students, residents, and staff
