Pacific Island Community of Oregon is seeking a Career Development Professional to join our team. The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $72,000 per year.

Job Description:

In this role, you will work closely with clients who have disabilities to help them achieve their career goals. You will assess client interests and abilities, develop job plans, and provide ongoing support to ensure successful employment outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to establish supportive relationships with clients and employers. You will also need to be knowledgeable about community-based work settings and able to educate potential employers about the benefits of hiring individuals with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess client interests and abilities
  • Develop job plans and provide ongoing support
  • Represent PICO in the business community
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
