Patient Registration Coordinator

This full-time role operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with occasional shifts from 8:15 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. and Saturday mornings from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Key Responsibilities
- Create a welcoming environment for patients, families, visitors, and staff during the pre-admission, admission, and registration processes.
- Register both inpatient and outpatient individuals as necessary, ensuring all required signatures are obtained and paperwork is accurately completed and distributed.
- Thoroughly review all documentation for completeness and precision before it is processed.
- Participate in central scheduling and assist with point-of-service collections and estimates as needed.
Requirements
- Availability to work weekends and holidays as required.
- Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate departmental needs.
- High school diploma or equivalent is necessary.
- Previous experience in admitting or registration is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with medical insurance processes is advantageous.
