About the Role

In the position of Plant Maintenance Supervisor, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the daily maintenance operations and ensure the plant's capability to safely produce pellets that align with production objectives and quality standards.

Collaborating with various departments within Operations, you will establish processes aimed at minimizing downtime and enhancing operational efficiency, achieving production and quality benchmarks, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols, including preventive and ongoing maintenance activities.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will lead, manage, and nurture a team of mechanics and electricians, ensuring that proactive, safe, and efficient support is consistently provided to the production team.

About You:

The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering or a related field, along with over 5 years of supervisory experience in driving reliability improvements within a dynamic manufacturing setting.
  • Essential experience in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
  • Proven track record in managing maintenance teams and supporting autonomous manufacturing operations.
  • Experience in implementing Preventative Maintenance (P.M.) practices.
  • Capability to set business objectives aimed at fostering continuous loss reductions.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Applied knowledge of time, condition, and predictive maintenance methodologies.
  • Experience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) principles, particularly in Autonomous and Effective Maintenance within a process-oriented environment.
  • Familiarity with Analytical Process Mapping.
Working Conditions:
  • Ability to work in environments with temperatures exceeding 100 degrees and dropping below 32 degrees.
  • Willingness to operate in hot, humid, cold, and noisy industrial settings.
  • Commitment to strict adherence to safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts to address unforeseen site challenges.
  • Availability for on-call duties during nights and weekends as required.
Physical Requirements:
  • Capability to perform tasks involving lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, crawling, and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours daily.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Capacity to perform essential job functions in accordance with the ADA.
