We are seeking a skilled Dishroom Assistant to join our team at Team San Jose.

Job Overview

The Dishroom Assistant will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our dishrooms, ensuring that all equipment and utensils are in good working order.

About the Role

This is a hands-on position that requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dishrooms, including washing dishes, pots, and pans, and sanitizing equipment and surfaces.
  • Restock and maintain supplies, including soap, sanitizer, and paper products.
  • Assist with inventory management, including counting and tracking supplies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth operations and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
