Dishwasher Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities

Maintain a clean kitchen environment by washing, stocking, and sorting dishes and kitchen equipment. Ensure a well-organized dish area, free of clutter. Set up and maintain dish stations, including dish machines and sinks. Perform daily cleaning duties as posted and assist with other tasks as needed.

Requirements and Skills
  • Food handler certificate required
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English and Spanish
  • High School Diploma preferred with ability to work flexible schedule
  • Must be at least 17 or older
Physical Demands

The physical demands of this job require standing for 10-12 hours per day, walking, using hands to handle or feel objects, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crawling. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced and occasionally exposes the employee to moving mechanical parts, toxic or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions, and risk of electrical shock. The noise level is usually loud.
