Job Summary

Mercy Hospital Jefferson is currently seeking a board-certified Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine Physician to serve as Medical Director for our Emergency Department in Festus, Missouri.

Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative and clinical leadership to the Emergency Department team
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
  • Collaborate with hospital leadership to advance the strategic goals of Mercy Hospital Jefferson
  • Recruit, retain, and develop a high-performing team of physicians and advanced practice providers
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical and operational trends in Emergency Medicine
Requirements
  • Board certification in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine
  • At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role in Emergency Medicine
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
