Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the review, preparation, and invoicing of monthly charges for assigned affiliates and profit centers.
  • Actively participate in the monthly closing process.
  • Collaborate with various departments to address general accounting needs and resolve discrepancies or disputes.
  • Assist in audit preparations, coordinating with internal and external auditors.
  • Conduct collection calls and manage email correspondence to maintain updated customer accounts.
  • Respond to Accounts Receivable inquiries and ensure follow-up as necessary.
  • Serve as a backup for posting and reconciling weekly cash transactions, preparing daily cash deposits, and maintaining cash control sheets.
  • Commit to fostering a safe work environment that prioritizes employee health and well-being.
  • Flexibility for travel or extended hours may be required.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics is preferred.

Experience: A minimum of 4 years in Accounting or Finance is required, with a preference for experience in the food industry.

Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and familiarity with ERP systems, such as SAP, is advantageous. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, possess strong problem-solving abilities, and demonstrate excellent communication skills.

Personal Attributes: A high level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability is essential. The candidate should be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of building relationships with clients and internal teams.
