Job Summary:
The Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse I to join our Women's Health Clinic team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide individualized, goal-directed, and family-centered patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe and effective care to patients in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to achieve desired outcomes and results.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
Requirements:
- Completion of a recognized Licensed Practical Nursing program.
- Minimum of six months experience as an LPN required.
- Licensed as an LPN within the state of South Carolina or a compact state.
- A current CPR card is required.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to perform job functions while standing, sitting, and walking.
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. unassisted.
- Ability to maintain 20/40 vision, corrected, in one eye or with both eyes.
