POSITION SUMMARY:
The Public Area Attendant is responsible for ensuring that lobby and communal areas are maintained in a pristine and orderly state, adhering to established standards and safety protocols.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain cleanliness of public spaces as directed by management.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and window frames.
- Vacuum upholstery, drapery, and carpets.
- Clean and maintain hallways, public elevators, and vending areas.
- Ensure all glass and metal surfaces are clean and shiny.
- Empty ash urns and dispose of trash appropriately.
- Clean offices and public restrooms, restocking supplies as needed.
- Prepare housekeeping carts with necessary supplies.
- Address guest requests and resolve any issues to ensure satisfaction.
- Report any lost items, damages, or maintenance concerns to the Supervisor.
- Secure and maintain custody of equipment, keys, and supplies to protect hotel property.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.


ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Experience: No formal experience is required for this role.
- Skills: Ability to communicate effectively and provide assistance to guests, staff, and management.
