RN / Registered Nurse - Med/Surg - Part Time - Nights

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at ProMedica. As a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care to patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and prioritize care accordingly.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient progress, report changes, and adjust care plans as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including progress notes and medication administration.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Stay current with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Current State of Michigan license as a Registered Nurse.
- Current BCLS certification.
- ACLS certification required within one year of hire for CCU staff.
- Ability to respond effectively and efficiently to critical situations involving patients, personnel, and visitors.
- Ability to function in a team environment.
- Demonstrated sound clinical skills and judgment.
- Ability to critique own daily practice for error and pursue corrective action.
- Ability to deal effectively with a changing environment and be open to new ideas.
