The Senior Mechanical Systems Engineer will oversee all functions related to the upkeep and repair of mechanical systems within various properties. Responsibilities will encompass the maintenance and operation of HVACR systems and controls, along with other systems such as chilled water systems, boilers, refrigeration units, and additional mechanical or electrical building systems. The Engineer should be adaptable and ready to undertake all assigned tasks.

Compensation: Pay range is $35.00/HR.

The salary mentioned is indicative of the range for this role. Actual offers will be contingent upon the candidate's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • • Manage building operations and generate work progress reports and metrics for managerial review.
  • • Adhere to safe practices and comply with company and regulatory standards.
  • • Operate heating and ventilation systems, engines, turbines, motors, combustion engines, pumps, air compressors, refrigeration units, air conditioning systems, fans, and siphons at assigned client sites.
  • • Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders on technical matters, work scope recommendations, and failure investigations.
  • • Provide engineering support across a diverse range of systems, maintenance programs, engines, and operational engineering functions.
  • • Analyze and develop solutions for the design, operation, maintenance, performance, or repair of vehicles/equipment and their components.
  • • Establish a maintenance program or configuration to troubleshoot issues and ensure safe and compliant operations.
  • • Review Service Bulletins (SBs) from manufacturers or component suppliers.
  • • Formulate solutions and implementation plans, project justifications, cost/benefit analyses, and manage project execution while coordinating warranty recovery on applicable SBs.
  • • Organize and prioritize assigned responsibilities to meet all deliverables for projects, maintenance program adjustments, and technical specification updates.
  • • Coordinate efforts with other operational teams to ensure safety, regulatory compliance, operational reliability, and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience.
  • Must hold a valid driver's license.
