We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Mechanic to join our team at Maverick Helicopters in Las Vegas/Henderson, Nevada.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing all facets of daily scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on our company fleet, including troubleshooting airframe, engine, and electrical systems. They will also be responsible for replacing engines, transmissions, and other components as necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on company fleet
  • Troubleshoot airframe, engine, and electrical systems
  • Replace engines, transmissions, and other components as necessary
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve maintenance goals
  • Document work as per regulations in the way of maintenance entries
Requirements
  • Possess a current FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate (A&P) with no enforcement action(s) pending
  • Able to work any shift
  • Professional that is able to work as a team member or independently
  • Able to use calibrated, hand, and specialized tools
  • Able to understand and properly use aircraft manuals
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience maintaining Airbus EC130 helicopters
  • Good working knowledge of helicopter airframes and engines, as well as advance troubleshooting skills
