POSITION SUMMARY:
The role of the Financial Operations Manager is crucial in overseeing the financial processes and ensuring compliance with various accounting standards. This position encompasses a variety of responsibilities, which may evolve over time as determined by management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Preparation of audit schedules for year-end financial closure.
  • Management of corporate and state tax reporting and filings, excluding income tax returns.
  • Analysis and maintenance of fixed asset schedules.
  • Entry postings and upkeep of financial records for foreign facilities.
  • Conducting analysis and journal entries for prepaid and advance accounts.
  • Preparation of labor distribution data for payroll processing each period.
  • Support in various journal entry adjustments as required.
  • Assistance with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and monthly closing adjustments.
  • Engagement in special projects as assigned.

In addition to the above, the Financial Operations Manager may perform other related duties as necessary. Any significant changes to responsibilities should be discussed with the Human Resources department.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Proficient knowledge of month-end closing processes.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and QuickBooks.
  • Strong ability to interact professionally and manage correspondence with external business contacts, including government tax authorities and vendors.
  • Demonstrated accuracy and resilience in financial tasks.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality regarding sensitive company information.
  • Capability to develop new financial principles and procedures.
  • Logical and sound decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in establishing and enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Ability to present material in a clear and persuasive manner.
  • Capacity to meet continuous deadlines.
  • Experience in providing guidance to team members who are not direct reports.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Skill in approaching situations tactfully and maintaining composure under pressure.
  • Proficient in reading and understanding documentation in English.
  • Strong written communication and report preparation skills.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • 2 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
