Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at the Butler County Educational Service Center. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing speech and language services to students with speech-language disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and evaluate students' speech and language skills
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to address students' speech and language needs
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to provide support and accommodations for students
  • Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed of students' progress
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and research in the field of speech-language pathology
Requirements:
  • Current Ohio Department of Education Speech Language Pathologist license
  • Current Ohio Board of Speech and Language Pathology license
  • Knowledge of current assessment tools, ETR and IEP processes, IDEA rules and regulations, and best practices for the provision of speech language services for children in their least restrictive environment
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in written form
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse population of students, families, and staff
Working Conditions:

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to changing circumstances. The Speech Language Pathologist will be required to work with students in a variety of settings, including classrooms, therapy rooms, and other locations as needed.
