Community Memorial Health System is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in helping patients improve their communication and swallowing abilities. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a hospital setting and make a positive impact on the lives of patients.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Conduct patient assessments to evaluate speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
* Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
* Provide speech therapy services to patients with various conditions, such as acute care, ICU, and critical care
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and develop comprehensive treatment goals
* Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
* Educate patients and their families on techniques for improving communication and swallowing skills
* Document patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment outcomes accurately and timely

**Requirements:**

* Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
* Valid state license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
* Previous experience in a hospital or acute care setting is preferred
* Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to speech, language, and swallowing functions
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
