Overview

Bridge Home Health and Hospice is seeking a skilled Hospice Sales Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting our hospice services to customers and referral sources within an assigned territory.

Responsibilities
  1. Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers and referral sources to promote hospice services.
  2. Gather and organize account-related information to provide key input on customer opportunities.
  3. Prioritize accounts in accordance with the market sales plan.
  4. Support new business development staff with education and training.
  5. Conduct market assessments and develop a comprehensive marketing plan to meet budgetary volume projections.
  6. Employ marketing and promotional initiatives to achieve budgetary volume projections.
  7. Establish and maintain positive working relationships with current and potential referral and payer sources.
  8. Build and monitor community, customer, payer, and patient perceptions of Bridge Hospice as a high-quality provider of services.
  9. Maintain comprehensive working knowledge of Bridge Hospice markets, including government agencies, major payer groups, key referral sources, and competitors' market positioning.
  10. Provide leadership in strategic planning, including identifying opportunities for additional or improved services to address customer needs.
Qualifications

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual with a strong background in healthcare marketing and sales. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A high school diploma or GED required; a bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least three years of experience in healthcare marketing management and/or home care operations preferred.
  • At least one year of experience in sales preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct professional and administrative personnel.
  • Ability to market aggressively and deal tactfully with customers and the community.
  • Knowledge of corporate business management.
  • Demonstrates excellent communications, negotiation, and public relations skills.
  • Demonstrates autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility, and cooperation in performing job responsibilities.
