About the Role

The Inpatient Therapist provides direct patient care under the supervision of the Clinical Director. Responsibilities include:

  • Providing clinical social work and case management consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Walden Behavioral Care
  • Conducting psychosocial assessments, participating in treatment planning, and discharge planning for assigned cases
  • Managing cases on both the inpatient eating disorder unit and inpatient psychiatric unit
  • Conducting individual, group, and family therapy
  • Conducting crisis intervention and liaison services with referral sources
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience providing direct clinical care in a mental health setting
  • LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, PhD, PsyD, LMFT, preferred or license-eligible
  • CPR certification required
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize independently
  • Ability to multi-task in a changing and fast-paced mental health environment
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative, team environment
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing

Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year
