About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Walden Behavioral Care. As an integral member of our treatment team, you will provide clinical therapy and case management in a manner consistent with our philosophy and objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct psychosocial assessments and participate in treatment planning and discharge planning for 6-7 patients on average.
  • Manage cases primarily with the adult population, with the expectation of handling adolescent cases as needed.
  • Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
  • Provide crisis intervention and liaison services with referral sources.
  • Ensure that all required documentation is completed in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work collaboratively with the treatment team and Walden continuum.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience providing direct clinical care in a mental health setting, preferably in an eating disorders program.
  • LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, PhD, PsyD, LMFT preferred; License Eligible, required.
  • CPR certification required.
