Shipping Duties:

  • Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in the designated delivery area.

Generate shipping labels and pull stock according to orders. Notify management of low packaging supplies and item counts in a structured format.

Complete shipments by processing and loading orders, and ensure deliveries are made by driving to the designated postal facility.

  • Maintain the delivery vehicle by performing preventive maintenance and arranging necessary repairs.

Prepare, package, document, and deliver outgoing materials.

Receiving Duties:

  • Receive, confirm, document, and transfer incoming goods to storage.
  • Organize loading and unloading areas with the appropriate equipment and materials.
  • Oversee the data system for tracking goods and shipments.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers, receivers, drivers, and staff to ensure smooth operations.

Inventory Management:

  • Log inventory daily and assist in moving inventory as needed.
  • Rotate inventory signage and manage stock location orders.
  • Restock essential supplies.

General Maintenance:

  • Handle items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Contribute to team efforts by achieving related results.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Ensure the proper functioning of electronic equipment used in shipping.
  • Provide quality service by adhering to organizational standards.
  • Promote a clean shipping supply area by following established procedures.
  • Complete reports by entering necessary information.
