  • Implement nutrition interventions, set achievable goals, and provide educational support to patients.
  • Document all nutrition services in compliance with organizational policies.
  • Facilitate training sessions on nutrition topics for staff and community members.
  • Develop and deliver engaging nutrition and wellness presentations, including group classes and demonstrations.
  • Maintain professionalism and foster positive relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field, along with current registration as a Registered Dietitian. A minimum of two years of experience in a community health or outpatient counseling setting is preferred. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is required.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Competence in patient assessment, education, and treatment planning.
  • Current CPR certification and valid driver's license.
  • Proficient computer skills.
