Job Summary

Children's Hospital Colorado is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Dietitian Associate to join our Clinical Nutrition Team. As a Clinical Dietitian Associate, you will provide comprehensive, safe, and ethical medical nutrition therapy to patients, families, and other clients in inpatient or outpatient settings. This is an outpatient position supporting the Lifestyle Medicine and Special Care Clinic program.

Responsibilities

- Provides nutrition therapy for patients with a variety of diagnoses, in an inpatient or outpatient setting as needed.
- Incorporates principles of culture-competence and family-centered care into clinical services.
- Completes written documentation of medical nutrition therapy provided in accordance with department standards for format, content, and time frames.
- Provides education and nutrition counseling to patients and families.
- Participates in the updating and development of nutrition education materials as needed.

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or related field.
- Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential.
- Experience in pediatric weight management and tube feeding management is preferred.
