Job Description

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensures precise financial documentation;

Processes and manages accounts payable invoices for operational costs and reimbursements, while reviewing, scanning, saving, and attaching necessary documentation for financial transactions (accounts payable invoices and deposit backups) within accounting software and cloud storage for historical reference;

Prepares and submits billing statements as required;

Assists in the compilation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for partner organizations, which may include reconciling bank accounts, notes receivable, interest income, vendor accounts, postage logs, and petty cash;

Supports the preparation of monthly financial statements and the annual audit for presentation to management and the Board of Directors;

Timely and accurately processes loan repayments in loan management and accounting systems;

Handles completed loan packages, which includes data entry, assembly, and file scanning;

Prepares bank deposits using remote deposit capture to deposit checks electronically or manually deliver to the appropriate financial institution;

Reviews and generates monthly customer billing statements and related activity reports;

Monitors delinquent borrower accounts and applies appropriate late fees;

Obtains current W9 forms for all vendors and accurately inputs data into accounting software;

Identifies, investigates, and rectifies discrepancies;

Performs additional duties as assigned with enthusiasm.

Job Type: Full-Time, up to 40 hours per week

Hourly Pay Rate: determined based on experience

Schedule: 7-8 hours per day, Monday through Friday

Physical Setting: Office

Minimum Education: An Associate Degree in Accounting or three (3) years of experience in Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable may be considered as a substitute for minimum education.

Minimum Experience: Two years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite, QuickBooks, and basic bookkeeping preferred.

Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree

Required Skills:
