The Role

As a Tax Services Associate, you'll work as a member of various client service teams, engaging in tax preparation, tax returns, tax planning, and consulting processes. You'll collaborate with each engagement team to identify and research client problems and propose possible solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in tax preparation, tax returns, tax planning, and consulting processes;
  • Collaborate with each engagement team to identify and research client problems and propose possible solutions;
  • Receive formal tax training, on-the-job training, direct feedback from top tax leaders, and the opportunity to pursue additional training through internal and external resources.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of relevant tax experience;
  • Bachelor's and/or relevant advanced degree (MAcc, MST, JD);
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities;
  • Self-starter with the initiative to seek out opportunities and ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment;
  • Ability to interact with various levels of client and firm management through both written and verbal communication;
  • Proficient use of technology.
