Position Purpose

The primary objective of this role is to guarantee that our clients receive top-tier service while optimizing the efficiency and productivity of the field teams. This position is crucial for the effective and profitable delivery of services at Dragonfly Pond Works.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, this role is essential for the seamless and profitable execution of our services. The responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing mowing teams in the Triangle area to ensure timely and efficient completion of scheduled projects.
  • Establishing and maintaining a safety-oriented mowing program that emphasizes adherence to safety protocols and best practices.
  • Implementing quality control measures and providing ongoing training for field crews to ensure compliance with industry standards and client expectations.
  • Coordinating the scheduling of monthly mowing assignments, managing time tracking, and optimizing routing for crews.
  • Building relationships with team members to support their professional development, setting objectives, and conducting regular performance evaluations.
  • Identifying equipment, material, and staffing needs for the Triangle branch in collaboration with the Division Manager.
  • Managing key accounts and overseeing projects that require additional attention and resources.
  • Recognizing and addressing issues related to turf or pond buffers that need immediate action, and communicating relevant information to the Client Service Manager.
  • Maintaining open lines of communication with Client Service Managers to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Utilizing various turf management equipment, including zero-turn mowers, Ventrac mowers, and other related tools.
  • Ensuring that vehicles and equipment are well-maintained and managing the inventory of assigned tools.
  • Completing additional tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Division Manager.
Qualifications
  • Experience in field operations (e.g., Construction, Landscaping, Lake/Pond Maintenance).
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders, including Operations and Sales teams, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing conditions and unforeseen challenges.
  • Capacity to perform under pressure.
  • Team-oriented mindset.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 80 pounds regularly.
  • Willingness to work outdoors for extended periods in varying conditions.
