Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Private Duty Nurse to join our team at ChristianaCare HomeHealth. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will provide one-on-one care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality care to patients with complex medical needs, including administering medications, gastric tube feedings, tracheostomy maintenance, and ventilator support.
  • Collaborate with families, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Build strong relationships with patients and their families through empathetic and responsive care.
  • Work a flexible schedule, including a minimum of two weekend shifts per month.
Requirements
  • DE LPN or RN license, or equivalent, with a minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Ability to attend a two-week daytime orientation in our Camden office, followed by patient field orientation.
  • Previous home health and/or Long Term Care experience is a plus.
  • Tracheostomy and ventilator experience is preferred.
