Are you a dedicated and compassionate nurse seeking a rewarding career in home health care? ChristianaCare HomeHealth is seeking a skilled Private Duty Nurse to provide expert care to medically fragile pediatric and adult patients in the comfort of their own homes.

As a Private Duty Nurse with ChristianaCare HomeHealth, you will have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients and their families, while delivering high-quality care that makes a real difference in their lives. Our team of experienced professionals provides a wide range of medical care services, including administering medications, gastric tube feedings, tracheostomy maintenance, ventilator support, and more.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personalized care to pediatric and adult patients in their homes
  • Collaborate with patients' doctors and other healthcare providers to ensure seamless care
  • Develop strong relationships with patients and their families through compassionate and responsive care
  • Work a minimum of two weekend shifts per month
  • Administer medications and prescribed treatments as ordered

Requirements:

DE LPN or RN license, or equivalent, with at least one year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred

Must be able to attend a two-week daytime orientation in our Camden office, followed by patient field orientation

Previous home health and/or Long Term Care experience a plus

Tracheostomy and ventilator experience preferred
